 Mark Pingris scored a career-high 28 points to lead San Miguel to a 125-115 win against Talk ‘N Text in Game Six of their KFC Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) semifinals series Friday at the Astrodome in Pasay City.Pingris scored 16 in the first half alone as the Beermen, who is facing a win-or-go-home situation, took a 66-51 halftime lead. He also shot 6-of-8 and had five rebounds in the first two quarters then grabbed seven more in the second half. Despite the win, San Miguel is still facing a 3-2 series deficit and will once again fight for survival on Sunday hoping to stretch the series to a deciding Game Seven. Mark Cardona finished with 19 points behind a 4-of-8 shooting beyond the arc for the Tropang Texters. |
