Manny Pacquiao takes a break from his training to visit Filipinotown on Saturday to join a Day of Service with the Filipino-American community.
Pacquiao, according to the Los Angeles Times, will be accompanied by Los Angeles City Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
Villaraigosa will give a special recognition to Pacquiao, who is considered as the world’s top pound-for-pound fighter.
The Day of Service aims to spruce up Historic Filipinotown in Los Angeles where a large Filipino community is residing.
Pacquiao trains under Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles and is preparing for his May 2 fight against British boxer Ricky Hatton.
