Another Filipino made his mark in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA) after clinching a victory in his international MMA debut.

Edward "The Landslide" Folayang defeated Saipanese Jerome Narita via technical knockout in the Gorilla Warfare MMA “Battle Ready” held in Saipan.

“The Landslide” took down his opponent in just 52 seconds.

A TV Patrol World Linggo report said that Folayang’s feat delighted overseas Filipino workers in Saipan who came out to support him. His victory also earned him instant fans in Saipan.

The 25-year-old MMA fighter, also the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) welterweight champion, said that he remains focused on bigger fights that he will tackle.
