The Pumarens have been in collegiate basketball long enough to know that no team in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines should be overlooked.
Even with their teams heavily favored, Franz Pumaren’s De La Salle University Green Archers and younger brother Dindo Pumaren’s University of the East Red Warriors treat their games versus struggling squads with equal importance.
“We cannot take them for granted,” said Franz. “The main objective for us right now is to win as many games as possible. It’s still a long way. A lot of things can still happen.”
