San Sebastian slips past Mapua, 64-62

The San Sebastian College (SSC) Stags slipped past the Mapua Cardinals, 64-62, in Friday’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men’s basketball game at the Astrodome in Pasay City.

SSC big man Jason Ballesteros blocked what could have been a game-tying basket by Mapua’s Allan Mangahas to preserve the win for the Stags, which climbed to fourth place with a 5-4 record.
The Cardinals dropped to an even 4-4 mark in fifth place.

Ballesteros finished with a game-high seven blocks and 20 rebounds as well as scoring 12 points and had two steals. – GMANews.TV
