Javier bows out of Olympic archery |

Filipino archer Mark Javier is now out of contention for an Olympic medal after he was defeated by Chinese Taipei's Kuo Cheng Wei in the men's individual Round of 32 eliminations in the archery competition held at the Olympic Green Archery Field in Beijing Wednesday afternoon.
The final score of the match was 106-102, in favor of Kuo. Kuo will move on to the Round of 16 knockout phase which was scheduled right after their match.
