Tañamor loses to Ghana's Plange

Team Philippines suffered another blow at the Beijing Olympics as Harry Tañamor lost his match against Ghana’s Manyo Plange, 6-3, in the men's light flyweight (48kg) event held at the Worker’s Gymnasium.

Manyo scored ahead the Filipino during Round 1 with two points against Tañamor’s one. He continued his barrage in the second and third by pushing his score to six.

Tañamor could only muster two more points for a total of three by the end of the match.
