Artemio Murakami tries to regain his winning ways in the Asian Tour as he competes in the SAIL Open beginning Thursday at the Classic Golf Resort in New Delhi, India.

The bubbly Filipino-Japanese will lead three other Filipino golfers—Mars Pucay, Antonio Lascuna and Jerome Delariarte—in the $300,000 Asian Tour tournament.

After an ego-inflating win in the Razon Invitational in early January, Murakami has not been in championship form since. Still, he will keep trying to get one title, if not more, for the rest of the year.

“I have to keep trying and play my best at all times. That’s the only way to strive here in the Asian Tour. I can’t just be disappointed in a few failures and die. It’s going to be go-go-go for me," Murakami said.

Murakami tees off at 8:00 a.m. with Australian Unho Park and hometown hero Gaurav Ghei.

Pucay, who has been successful outside of the Asian Tour league, is also seeking a morale-boosting triumph. He is in the pairing of Indian stalwart Digvijay Singh and Somkita Srisa-Nga.

Lascuna, one of the most consistent Filipino stars in the cash-rich Asian Tour, will also be in the morning group with Keith Horne and Shanim Khan while Jerome Delariarte, the winning pro in the ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge in 2008, tees off ahead at 7:20 a.m. with Gurki Shergill and Chiragh Kumar.
