The day, though, belonged to Thai Sattaya Supupramai who fired a red-hot nine-under 63 to establish a new course record and take the first round lead. Lascuna was well on his way to a good day when he had successive birdies from the second and another at the ninth hole. Two holes later, he nailed another birdies to go four-under after No. 11. A bogey on the13th, however, pushed him back a stroke off the pace. A stroke back from Lascuna was rookie pro Ferdinand Aunzo, who managed a three-under 69, which was good for fifth spot with five others. Juvic Pagunsan was in 13th with a two-under 70, Mars Pucay 71 (tied 15th), Marvin Dumandan 72 (tied 23rd), and Anthony Fernando 73 (tied 37th). Tags: Antonio Lascuna Golf |
