World Boxing Organization bantamweight champ Gerry Peñalosa has been warned by international matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz about challenger Nestor Rocha for the title fight in Tubod, Lanao del Norte on September 20."[Rocha is] very, very tough. Like a nail," Lewkowicz said as he described the Mexican. The matchmaker added that Peñalosa may encounter a problem in fighting Rocha. "If [everybody] think Peñalosa [will have] an easy fight, they are totally wrong," Lewkowicz said, adding that Rocha was excellent as an amateur and moves well. Peñalosa has a 53-6-2 win-loss-draw record with 36 wins by way of knockout. Rocha, meanwhile, has 19 wins against a loss, with six KOs. |
