Import’s ‘winning attitude’ to help TNT

Talk ’N TextTalk ’N Text’s import hopes his attitude will help his team score a second straight championship in the 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference.

“Their confidence is high with a winning run like that. Hopefully my winning attitude will earn the team another title,” said Tiras Wade in a report posted on www.pba.ph.

Wade made the statement shortly before the official measurement of imports Wednesday at the PBA Commissioner’s Office.

TNT is coming off a successful run in the Philippine Cup that saw them winning over the Alaska Aces in a classic seven-game showdown.

Other imports who attended Wednesday’s affair were Rod Nealy of defending champion Barangay Ginebra, Rain or Shine’s Charles Clark, San Miguel’s Nate Carter, Barako Bull’s Scooter McFadgon, Purefoods’ Brain Hamilton, Sta. Lucia’s Anthony Johnson, Coca-Cola’s J.J. Sullinger and Burger King’s Shawn Daniels.

Alaska’s Galen Young will be arriving in Manila on Thursday.

Among the imports, Daniels turned out to be tallest at 6-foot-5 5/8, while McFadgon is the shortest at 6-foot-3 13/16.

Nealy was measured 6-5 1/16, Johnson 6-4 15/16, Hamilton 6-4 3/4, Clark 6-5 1/4, Carter 6-5 1/16, Sullinger 6-4 1/4 and Wade 6-5 3/8.
