Kobe Bryant, who was still feeling discomfort from a dislocated right ring finger suffered Monday night in a victory over Cleveland, had a triple double with 18 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. While Bryant proved himself in prime form, he made only 5-of-15 shots from the floor. Bynum, who hit 17-of-24 shots, added 15 rebounds and blocked three shots for the Lakers, who also had 19 points from Lamar Odom. The Lakers defeated the Clippers for the seventh meeting in a row and improved to 33-8, matching the Magic for the best record in the NBA with Cleveland just behind at 32-8 and Boston next at 35-9. DeAndre Jordan led the Clippers with 23 points and 12 rebounds. The rookie center made 11-of-12 shots from the field. Luke Walton scored 11 points while Pau Gasol had 10 points for the Lakers. |
