The chase for two other outright semifinal berths heats up today with Magnolia, Pharex, Licealiz and Cobra all going all out in a pair of matches expected to go down-to-the-wire in the PBL PG Flex Unity Cup at the San Juan gym.

The Wizards collide with the Energy Warriors at 4 p.m., looking for a second straight win and third overall in five games for a crack at the second semis slot.

Magnolia nipped Cobra, 69-67, in the first round.

The Bidang Generix, on the other hand, hope to come up with a follow up to their big 82-62 win over the Energy Warriors last Saturday as they clash with the Licealiz Hair Doctors at 2 p.m.

Licealiz beat Pharex in the first round, 87-78, but the Hair Doctors are coming off a 72-79 setback to Oracle Titans, who clinched the first semis spot with a sweep of their first five games.
