PBA: Beermen go for win No. 6 against Gin KingsSan Miguel Beer and Barangay Ginebra collide tonight in a duel of injury-hits teams in the Motolite PBA Fiesta Conference at the Araneta Coliseum tonight.

The Beermen, however, have long dealt with their dilemma, racking up five straight victories to emerge the unlikely leader in the season-ending tournament.

In contrast, the Gin Kings have dropped their last four games after an opening game victory, sending the crowd favorites in the cellar with the Coca-Cola Tigers.

San Miguel is currently the hottest team in the league, going on a five-game streak despite the absence of injury-stricken stars Danny Seigle, Danny Ildefonso, Lordy Tugade, Marc Pingris and Mike Cortez.

Gametime is at 7:30 p.m.

Rain or Shine and Burger King, two teams hot on the trail of San Miguel Beer, clash in the day’s other game at 5 p.m.

“It’s a pivotal game for us. It’s a game which could secure us second place and give us something to enjoy as we go into our 20-day break,” said Burger King coach Yeng Guiao.
